Friends of the Salle Pleyel / Cité de la musique

Friends of the Salle Pleyel / Cité de la musique is an association uniting all who wish to support the Salle Pleyel / Cité de la musique and contribute to furthering its reputation both in France and abroad. The association’s central aims are to encourage musical creation in all its forms, to give new audiences access to living music and to contribute to educational activities devoted to the development of the musical life.

Friends of the Salle Pleyel benefit from exclusive privileges enabling them to participate in concerts under optimal conditions, in a prestigious cultural setting. Three categories of membership are proposed: Friends, Donors and Benefactors.

Your privileges if you become a Friend:

  • Priority access to seat purchases, 2 weeks before the box office opens to subscription holders,
  • Personalised reception at a special booth,
  • Access to an exchange marketplace for members,
  • An e-newsletter announcing important Salle Pleyel and Association events,
  • Some of the best orchestra seats, for all concerts, subject to the availability of seats reserved for the Association,
  • Preview presentation of the new season at the Salle Pleyel.

Membership fees:

  • For one person: annual subscription fee of €150, which covers the period September to September,
  • Fee for an Associate Member (2nd person joining on the same membership form): annual subscription fee of €100.

Your privileges if you become a Donor:

  • All the advantages of Friends plus:
  • Access to last-minute seats (up to 24 hours before the concert), subject to the availability of seats reserved for the Association,
  • A complimentary drink at interval for 2 concerts per season,
  • Invitations to cocktails and dinners organised by the Association,
  • The possibility of sitting in on one or two orchestra rehearsal sessions.

Membership fees:

  • For one person: annual subscription fee of €200, which covers the period September to September, to which is added a donation of €500 minimum.
  • Fee for an Associate Member (2nd person joining on the same membership form): annual subscription fee of €100, to which is added a donation of €250 minimum.

Your privileges if you become a Benefactor:

  • All the privileges of Donors plus:
  • 2 complimentary seats per season, to be chosen from a selection of concerts, subject to the availability of seats reserved for the Association,
  • A complimentary cocktail at interval for 2 concerts per season,
  • The publication of the name of the Benefactor, if so desired, in the Salle Pleyel brochure.

Membership fees for Benefactors:

  • Same as for Donors, to which is added a donation of €1500 minimum for one person and €2000 minimum for two people.
